A LOVELY REUNION IN DALLAS

Thank you Mrs. Kendall Wilson for hosting a wonderful brunch during the visit to Dallas this May.

Board Chair Dr. Bill Chin and Vice Chair Steve  Humphrey recently joined The Rev. Dr. Mark S.  Anschutz in a place he treasures: Texas!  Reflecting on his ten and a half years of as Rector  of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in  Dallas, The Rev. Dr. Anschutz described that time  as one of his life's most joy-filled, intellectually  formative, and faith-expanding periods of his  fifty-five years of ordained ministry. During the  visit, he was reunited with lifelong friends, sharing  cherished memories and the passion that fuels  his work with Mengo Hospital Partners.

The trip was an incredible opportunity to highlight  the vision of Mengo Hospital Partners in creating  the Mengo Pediatric Center of Excellence and  share the progress being made in Kampala. We  are deeply grateful to our hosts and all who took  the time to learn about our mission and the ways  in which they could contribute their varied gifts to all that we are seeking to achieve for the children  of east Africa. The energy and enthusiasm from  the Dallas community were inspiring, and we  can't wait to return and keep you updated on the  progress of this vital work.

Would you like to experience Mengo Hospital  Partners' work in Kampala, Uganda firsthand?  We are organizing a visit in 2025 and would love  for you to join us. This trip will be a chance to  witness our mission's impact, explore Kampala's  warmth and culture, and become more closely  involved spiritually, intellectually, and practically  in our efforts. Please contact us for more details  and keep an eye on future communications with  evolving details of the visit, currently scheduled  for late October 2025—we can't wait to share  this journey with you!
